Which Collaboration Backbone Is Right For You?
Cloud computing is poised to change the way we access technology—it is as game-changing as the commercialization of the Internet over a decade ago. What’s more, companies that adopt cloud computing become more competitive in the marketplace, improving workflow and agility.
Collaboration is one of the first enterprise applications to make major strides in the cloud. The vendor landscape is filled with compelling and competitive platforms which CIOs are no longer able to ignore, although they must choose carefully. Selecting which partner makes the most sense for their business requires careful evaluation of the implications that come with their choice. Evening in the Cloud 2010 provides an opportunity to engage in an open conversation around which vendor can best solve challenges and provide a more collaborative way to work.
Program
David Berlind will open the program with a 30 minute overview of the cloud collaboration market, the major players in the market and touch on why the market is changing so rapidly. After his overview IBM will provide a 15 minute demo and then join CXOs for an hour long discussion about moving one’s enterprise collaboration into the cloud. The CXOs on stage will have the opportunity to ask questions while taking live Q&A from the audience. After the panel concludes, a cocktail reception will begin. This allows the audience time to grab a drink, mingle with the presenters and get a more intimate demo from IBM.
