Enterprise 2.0 Boston has chosen Children’s Hospital Boston as the event’s official nonprofit beneficiary for 2010. Children’s Hospital Boston, an internationally renowned center for medical research and treatment, is one of the only pediatric hospitals nationwide that focuses on pairing world-class research with clinical resources to treat and cure children. UBM TechWeb, Enterprise 2.0 and its parent company UBM, are proud to support this organization and the wonderful work it is doing in and around the Boston area.

We'd like to ask Enterprise 2.0 attendees and community members to join us in our support for Children’s Hospital Boston. There are several ways to participate and we greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide to support their programs.

Walk – NSTAR’s Walk for Children’s Hospital Boston’s annual NSTAR is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 13, one day in advance of Enterprise 2.0 Boston. Any Enterprise 2.0 Attendee who signs up and participates in this walk will be honored with a donation* made on walk participant’s behalf at Enterprise 2.0 Conference registration, with proof of participation. You may sign-up to participate at the event by registering and paying the $20 entrance fee on their website. Please note that the $150 fundraising minimum is not a requirement for the walk, but preferred by Children's Hospital Boston and Walk organizers.

Enterprise 2.0 will also have a team participating in the 7-mile walk. If you would like to support Children’s Hospital Boston and the Enterprise 2.0 team, please make a donation on our team page. UBM TechWeb will match up to 25% of all donations made to our team on the walk, you can designate yourself a part of Team Enterprise 2.0 during online or onsite registration When you arrive at NSTAR’s Walk one of the Enterprise 2.0 team members will provide you with a sweat band and wrist bands to wear and show support of our community.

In-Kind Donations - Bring any of the following items to Enterprise 2.0 Boston and deposit them in our in-kind donation bin. All items will be delivered to Children’s Hospital at the close of the event.

Items requested include:
New unwrapped toys and stuffed animals
Books
Board and video games
DVDs with ratings of G, PG and/or PG13
Unacceptable Items: (Please do not donate)
NO USED TOYS or STUFFED ANIMALS of any kind are accepted due to infection control guidelines, as they could be of harm to sick children.
No tiny chokeable toys or cloth toys.
No computers, artwork (for display), and hair donations
Please DO NOT WRAP toys – the items must be checked before being given to a child.

Conference and Keynote Evaluations - After attending any workshop, conference session or keynote program, complete our on-line survey and a donation* will be made to Children’s Hospital.

*For all programs related to Enterprise 2.0 and parent company UBM TechWeb’s support of Children’s Hospital Boston, Enterprise 2.0 will grant the maximum amount of $2000.00 to Children’s Hospital Boston for direct client services.
