How to Request a Media Pass
Media registration for Enterprise 2.0 Conference has now closed. Due to a high demand for media passes, media registration was by pre-registration only and will not be available onsite. Thank you for your understanding and interest in the event.
Required Credentials for a Media Pass
To qualify for a complimentary media pass for
Enterprise 2.0 Boston 2012, the applicant must cover the industry on a regular basis by writing regular reports or publishing relevant articles on the industry that are not solicited by an exhibiting company and are not confidential. Private consultants who are paid by an individual company are not eligible for a media pass, and should request a pass from the sponsoring company. Additional information on requirements for press, analysts and bloggers is as follows.
One of the following credentials must be presented in advance of Enterprise 2.0 Boston 2012 before media registration can be approved:
- Trade/Business Publications; Online/News Services
- Industry Analysts
- Online News Outlets
- Association Publications/Newsletters
- Freelance Writers and Authors
- Bloggers
- Titles Accepted/Not Accepted
Trade/Business Publications; Online/News Services
Reporters from industry trade publications, newspapers and wire services must provide a sample of an article published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship with your byline.
Industry Analysts
Writers from internationally recognized market research or financial institutions who consistently write for regularly published newsletters and/or reports must provide a sample of an industry-related report published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.
Online News Outlets
An online news outlet must contain original news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributors, and have a readership of over 1,000 per month. Each news outlet must have a paid reporting staff of two or more and must post original, dated, industry-related news at least once per week
Association Publications/Newsletters
Reporters from internationally recognized magazines, newspapers or newsletters produced by industry associations must provide an article published within the past six months. Newsletter reporters must have a registered subscriber base of at least 500.
Freelance Writers and Authors
Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an article published within the past six months. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organizations are not eligible for media credentials.
Bloggers
Bloggers must cover the industry on a regular basis and must have written on social tools and/or 2.0 technologies for business within six months of requesting a media badge. Blogs must contain original, dated, industry-related news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributions before media badge request. No corporate blogs will be considered.

We reserve the right to refuse media badges, without cause, during pre-registration as well as on-site media registration. Please be advised that, due to high demand, media badges are limited in number. Only commercial news outlets, major analyst firms and leading industry bloggers will be issued media badges.

Media Center Hours and Briefing Rooms
The Media Center will be located in room 300 and hours of operation will be the following:
Monday, June 20: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Tuesday, June 21: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Wednesday, June 22: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Thursday, June 23: 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Meeting Space for Media Briefings
Pre-reservation requests for meeting space for press/analyst briefings is now closed. If you are interested in securing a meeting space for media briefings onsite, please come to the Media Center, where you can make your reservation on a first-come first-serve basis.
The Media Center may only be used by registered exhibitors, representatives, press, analysts and bloggers. For each meeting, one attendee must be registered as media (journalist/analyst/blogger) and the other must be a registered exhibitor. For more information, please contact .
